Why we built the publish gate

Most website builders treat accessibility as something you bolt on at the end, if you get to it at all. A linter you run once. A checklist someone half-remembers. By then the site is already live and already turning people away.

We wanted the opposite. In Windrow the standard is part of publishing itself. When you hit publish, the page is rendered and measured against WCAG 2.2 AA, and it only goes live if it passes. Fail, and you get a plain-language list of what to fix, pointing at the exact blocks.

The result is quiet but important: you cannot ship a page that some of your visitors cannot use. Not because you remembered to check, but because the tool would not let you forget.
