Our promise
Windrow will not publish a page that fails WCAG 2.2 AA. That is not a recommendation in our docs, it is a rule in our code. The gate runs on every publish, for every site, including this one.
What the gate enforces

WCAG 2.2 AA as the floor
The widely referenced standard in accessibility law and procurement. Sites can opt up to a stricter level, never below.

Contrast that cannot fail
Color pairings come from a palette engineered to meet contrast requirements, so text stays readable on every theme.

Meaningful images described
Every non-decorative image needs alt text before it can publish. Decorative images are correctly hidden from screen readers.

A sound heading outline
Headings follow a correct order, so people navigating by structure are never dropped into a gap.

Link text that says where it goes
Generic links like "click here" are caught and flagged, so every link makes sense out of context.
What does WCAG 2.2 AA mean?
WCAG is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Level AA is the conformance level most laws and procurement policies reference. Windrow enforces it as the minimum.
Can I conform to a higher standard?
Yes. A site can opt up to WCAG 2.2 AAA, and an account can set its preferred default. You can raise the bar, never lower it.
Do you generate an accessibility statement?
Yes. Windrow writes your conformance statement and keeps it current as the site changes, so it never claims more than is true.
How do I report an accessibility problem?
