WCAG stands for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. People say it like a password, but underneath it is a short set of common-sense promises about whether everyone can use your site.

Level AA is the bar most laws and funders point at. In plain terms it asks: can people read the text against its background, can they get everywhere with just a keyboard, do images carry a description, do headings follow a sensible order, and does every link make sense on its own.
